Dr. Zakaria first met my Dad in October 2017, the kindness and care that Dr. Zakaria showed my 79 year old Dad was out of this world. When test results didn't make sense, Dr. Zakaria kept searching, he never gave up on my Dad. He became part of our family during the last 5 months. My Dad was up and down in his recovery, Dr. Zakaria always explained thoroughly my Dad's health status along with his care plans going forward. As a family we never felt out of the loop. Several nurses at Palos Hospital would say what a great doctor he is, that Dr. Zakaria wants to save them all, just what we wanted to hear! He really did try with my Dad, my Dad was very fond of Dr. Zakaria. We wanted him to save our Dad, except the Lord had other plans, he was called home on April 9th, 2018. As for Dr. Zakaria, I trust and respect him completely! He is committed to his patients, smart, friendly, compassionate doctor. As for my Mom, daughter and myself, Dr. Zakaria has become our doctor over the last few months. We thank him for his commitment to saving lives!

We met Dr. Zakaria at Palos Health when my 89 year old mother had incurred a fall which ultimately resulted in a fractured T9. Dr. Zakaria went above and beyond to ensure my mother underwent emergency surgery upon discovery and she is alive today because of his relentlessness. Dr. Zakaria treats his parents as if they were his own family. We will be forever grateful!

Dr. Zakaria was very thorough and helped put my mind at ease. When faced with a possible serious medical issue, he took excellent care of me in both the office and hospital, and the doctors he referred me to were the best. I had the most excellent care and could not be more thankful for him and his team.
